Dear classmates,
Quite a few classmates attended 憶師恩法會 on Saturday, either the whole day or part of it. In the class last night, we get to learn what everyone saw and felt from the FaHui. Lots of us talked about the six real life stories as they are so touching, especially 鄭玉芬師姐 and her husband.
For those who have attended the event, we can spend some time to think about the details and how I can learn from them. Better yet, we can discuss with others to take our thinking to a higher level. If you miss the event and are thinking of watching the film later, please let me know so I can try to see what we can do.
On this Sunday, we will get into 皈依三寶 (going refuge to the Three Jewels). We talked about the meaning of 皈依 (皈: 由黑反白﹐依: 依靠), and the causes of going for refuge. We also came up with some examples of going for refuge and put them into a table as follows. Please think of more examples around you and we will have more discussions in the class.
